View Full Version : Teen rocks to his death

This is really funny.. unless you're him...
[SINGAPORE] - A teenage guitarist got so carried away while bouncing up and down on his bed mimicking a rock star that he catapulted out of a third-floor window to his death, a Singapore newspaper reported yesterday.

The only thing that would make that kind of death cooler is if it was made into a music video. What better way can you go? Rocking yourself to death... I have a new goal in life.

Man, I hope that's the way I go. The only thing that'd make that cooler would be if he played a kickass solo all the way down.

You know, that sounds like a line from an awful metal song. "Rock yourself to death, in this cradle of pain" or something.

here is a true gruesome one.......guy on roof gets to the edge to jump the one story to the ground.....facing forward feet first he jumps but does not reach the ground because of the old fridge under the eave with it's old time metal pull handle that looks like a walrus tusk sticking up(inverted)you may know the kind.......that's right!!!! it went up his booty so there he was dangling in pain til his brothers helped him off it -----thirty some odd stitches:eek: i went to high school and knew his brother and the guy told me .....i cringed

bummer :( poor kid, his parents must be heartbroken...
but it must be said, that is probably one of the most absolutely unequivocally hardcore rockstar imitations ever. he should be made an honorary rockstar and allowed into that special corner of hell where the dead rocks stars dwell

I don't know - when I picture someone jumping on their bed so hard that they projectiile out the window.....lol
My bed is not that bouncy - well I haven't jumped on my bed lately - at least not pretending to be a Rock Star anyways.
And how big would that window have to be, to clear right through it without hitting the sides.. Maybe he did, but its funnier to picture if he didn't....

hey, on the VW forum I post on, there was a thread about some idiot woman in NH without a revoked license who managed to rent an Explorer and loaded it with an adult friend, their children and another few kids (friends and cousins, all under 9)... I think there were 9 people in total in the truck, which was only meant to hold 5 people... and not one human being in the vehicle was belted in... she lost control at 120 mph from weaving between lanes and crashed; it rolled over a few times and through a treeline before ending up in a ditch.
We were all having a pretty good "WTF" session, and then it died down. A few months later the thread was back and her townie relatives had found it, were telling us we were callous jerks and it was a police conspiracy (?)... it was actually pretty damn funny... but in any case yeah, you don't even want to approach what I said back to them. What can I say? Some people deserve it...

I'll see if I can find it... yeah... it was a reality check for everyone in the thread (watch what you say about stupid people who kill their kids; their relatives may be reading) and the relatives (watch what you say in defense of your idiot relatives ho killed their kids to a group of people who have already tracked down every article and report available on the internet in regards to the situation about conspiracy theories that somehow supplant not belting in anyone in a car that was holding just shy of double its capacity and thus further your psychological trauma).

Does anyone else find this thread the tiniest bit morbid?
In all fairness, we should at least mention who he was.
The teens name was Li Xiao Meng, and he was a 16-year-old business student, from China. He regularly got together with friends in the hostel they were staying at to smoke and listen to tunes.
Apparently, he got a little too carried away and bounced out the window.
His father, Li Zhong Yuan, 58, expressed sorrow over what
happened to his only child.
“Now he’s gone and at my age, I don’t think I can have another child,” he said.
So from everybody at Guitar Tricks, our most sincere sympathies to his family.
Li should be made an honorary Guitar Tricks member or something.

Some guy named fingersofflame kept coming on and just saying swears and names of body parts, making fun of people calling them names and being offensive overall. He must have been banned, because he returned as fingersofflame2 and fingersofflame3. On three, his "dad" apologized (after he was threatened with investigation and reporting) saying he would punish his "son", so dont worry about it. And here we are. I say report, somebody deserves to be punished for that.
