I reckon the definitive live band are The Eagles who I am going to see on saturday night. Also, 2 concerts (Sting & David Gray) happening next month have been moved from the original venue to a park about 2 inches from my house which means I get to take in 2 free concerts and then Im going to see Bob Dylan but I have to travel half way across the country so. What do you think.

The best live act I've ever seen is Ben Harper. Primus is awesome live, as is any Les Claypool project. Blues Traveler absolutely rocks live too.

Iron Maiden are brilliant live. Theyre just one of those bands that seem to be made for live playing. Even if you hear the studio versions, you can imagine how brilliant the song would sound live. I think Bruce just has one of those voices

I don't go anymore to the big concerts, the large numbers of people, the amount of time with traveling , distance to the musicians , the sound. Mostly i find it to expensive. The drinks, food etc. are extremely expensive. I like to go to little concerts around my town. They are cheep, sometimes very good, not to crowdy and it's only for the music.

Jim's Big Ego is awesome live... just remembered them today.
None of the concerts I've gone to are very big. Usually open admission and you can get right up front if you really want. Intimacy rocks.
