I am making a tutorial but I think it will be easier for me if I will first know at what level are u? what are the problems thet u had and have now and what do u enjoy playnig (Acoustic, Alternative, Blues, Classical, Country, Folk, Funk ,Jazz, Metal, Rock)

i play alot of different stuff. i like a sort of Steely dan feel tho. think a jazz rock back and a metal guitar riff over it. (is that called jazz fusion or something?)

I am debating the chart! Evil me! Just one thing id like to add, you can't compare skill level to the size of your gigs, ex. (greenday) they sell out but they suck. I know this is really freakin' picky, but i just thought i'd point that out. BTW i'm level 10 :D beyond all of you mere mortals! haha

Based on the chart I would say a 3 or a 4, but I think it's a little unfair for us high school kids.

I'm a huge jazz fan, and most of my problems come from comping. Playing a chord is one thing, but voice leading is a much different issue (trying to mae the top note of the chord flow into the next one and add melodic interest).

3.5 I haven't played for anyone in a good while, because I'm busy with school and work. I'm into acoustic, classical, alternative, folk, and indie. I guess indie goes under alternative. Still, that's me.

I'm ok... y'know, I've got a long ways to go before I do anything break through. I've got a lot of reading and practicing that needs to be done, but at the same time I'm not piss poor. As far as the chart goes, I'm 3-4. I still do most of my playing alone, but that's been changing lately. As far as Akira's level goes, I'm a 53 warrior.

Won't happen. I've trounced the better portion of 20k newbies in one sitting before I even made it halfway down in my hp. Again, the power of Visceral Impalement is a force to be reckoned with.

In terms of Mario, I beat level 8-8 about a million times, I can beat the whole game in like 10 minutes, I know where all the warp zones are! So you can't say I'm ON a level, since I've beat them all. Unless I was playing at the time, I guess, then I'd be on a level.

In terms of guitar I'm at that level where I can play good, but not, like, THAT good.

I'm pretty much in the same boat... only for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and 4. I can't count how many times I"ve blasted through those games and they still never get old.
