NOOO!! Those refs were paid off! seriously! Even Steve Young, Al michaels, John Madden, and any other commentator there disagreeded every single call the refs made! The First touchdown was is NO WAY, in! the Seahawks should have had 2 touchdowns , but they were taken back by bogus calls! And once again ALL OF THE COMMENTATORS DISAGREED WITH THE CALLS!!!
If you look at the stats the Hawks beat the Steelers in every field! But the refs called everything in favor of the Steelers! Even the Suposedly "NEUTRAL" field of play was Flooded with Steelers fans! I'm Freakin' Pissed!

I'm a New England Fan, but I wanted the Hawks to win. My son used to play Base Ball with Lufa Tattopu from the age of 10 to 14 . Boy was that kid talaented back then. He was a catcher. At the age of ten not only could he hit the ball out of the park every time he got up he could also from the kneeling down position throw some one out stealing second. It is definately in his gene's. His dad Mosi played for New england most of his career and owns a sports store here in town with Steve Grogan..

Just got back from a Super Bowl Party, I was rather disappointed with the commercials however. I was kinda wanting the hawks to win but it didnt really matter to me either way. The parties are always fun though. :)

I was cheering on the Steelers and even I know that ball didn't cross the goal line for the first TD. Pfffft, c'mon. Now I remember why I don't watch football.

I wanted the Steelers to win. I thought the officials sucked hardcore. They were paid off for sure. It reminds me why I don't watch football anymore. Even though the Steelers won, I could care less. Tomorrow is still monday. HA!

if they had turned those mics up...
anyways. i am a die hard steelers fan. but i will hand it to yall. the officials made some baddd plays. both times to my advantage, so im fine with it. first time was our touchdown. and im the pessimist when it comes to sports, so i definatly thought that was out. but they counted it so i rejoiced. and then the touchdown the seahawks should have scored. i totally dont think that was a push. and if that had counted, im betting we would have gone into overtime or would have even lost.
so i donno. it was a slow game, not as exciting as playoff games in my opinion.

Waaah, waaah, waaah. I found no problem with the officiating, or at least any more than normal. Let's see:
1. The main call everyone talks about is the Steeler TD that stood upon challenge. Well watching it live most of his head clearly crossed the plane causing the call on the field (TD), yet the replay video wasn't conclusive to show otherwise. At the frame of importance the ball wasn't visible...now one could probably assume where it was in his arms (which in reality probably didn't cross the line) but the video just didn't show it. Perhaps you could rest better knowing that if it had not been called a TD on the field and challenged it wouldn't have been overturned either. But that's the video replay challenge rules, and how it should be.
2. Or how about the other challenge they (Seahawks) did win: the fumble by Hasselbeck that was overturned. Clearly it would've been easy to not spot the grazing fingertips of the Steeler at real speed, and the call was justly overturned.
3. How about the end zone offensive pass interference that costs the Hawks a TD? Clearly looked like a push off to me. The ref couldn't have been in a better spot to view it. Rightly called.
4. The only for sure bad call I know of is the blocking below the knees called on Hasselbeck after his interception. And that was what, 10 yards? Still doesn't change the fact that he threw the int. to begin with. Not a gamebreaker.
There's prolly a few more others might mention, but the fact of the matter is, the Hawks just could not end the drives that built up all those stats. Does anyone not remember the clutch sacks that killed several drives. And they missed how many field goals? But the most obvious thing was the confusion throughout the team...end of 1st half and the 2 min drill at the end. That was one of the worst clock management attempts I've ever seen. Besides, Madden is an idiot anyways...hate that guy, and his "we talk about..." every other sentence. Jeez, I won't miss him next year for sure!

how about the holding call that took away the hawks pass down to the 2 of the steelers.........madden said the call was bad......then the time out called by the steelers after the clock was at zero.....a delay of game call then would have killed the steelers drive. the refs are intimidated by a home crowd.....the game should have been played on a more neutral field like.......Texas ;)
