I have heard of a effects board equal to or better than the Line 6 pod. It's called Berringer. I was wondering which is better. I have only tried the pod and I was still very satisfied with the results it gave me. If anyone knows about this Berringer please write me.

What you actually mean is the Behringer V-amp.
Check out http://www.behringer.com for more info.
All i know is that it's price is around $200.

Behringer's flagship amp (and so far the only i've seen or tried) is the Blue Devil GX112 Guitar Workstation. Quoting the Musicians Friend catalog:
Virtube Circuitry, 60W of power, custom 12" Shark speaker, 2 channels with separate volume and effects, digital stereo effects unit with 24-bit converters, and 3 adjustable parameters per preset. I/O includes insert, stereo aux and line out, phones, MIDI. Includes footswitch for channel select and effects bypass.
List $499.00/Musicians Friend Price $299.99
I used one at Mars for a few minutes, but when I tried to switch to a different effect...BRICK WALL. The store tech didn't know how to get it back either. For those thirty seconds it sounded really awesome, and the MIDI in/out is a definite up, especially if you, like me, have a massive suite of computer audio production software. The learning curve seems to be a bit high, but there was one of those no-lifer, no-girlfriend losers who shreds at guitar stores all day long to meet friends who was getting some serious power out of it.
I like the Pod, and Line6's Spider amps with the Pod's built in but there's not enough tweakability for my tastes. I like lotsa little knobs and stuff to play with so I can get the tone just right. The Behringer has that, and the $300 price tag is less than most baseline sound processors alone.

I have the Behringer V amp and use it at this time for computer recording. To me the sound is good but i have never played a POD. The price was very good including the footstep. I have not yet tried it out on a big amp.
