Hello everyone,
I have currently formed a band with my mates (drums, bass) and we are looking for an easy song to do a cover of jsut to get us started.
I haev had around 4 months of guitar, my mate who plays bass has had abotu 8 months and my mate who plays drums has been going for 2 months so we are not that expereinced so please list as many easy sogns to play 9as a band) as possible.. thank you.

You gotta make it the Monster of All Covers....thats right! Where Is My Mind by the Pixies is your only option...everyone has to cover that song...its the rules!

Pick some early beatles music, you can get the anthology from most music/book stores and the tab is the most complete you'll find.

anything by green day should be extremely easy. perhaps some easy ACDC songs, since the drumming in most ACDC songs is easy (from what I've heard) and your drummer has the least experience.

Arials by System of a down is easy on all instruments as well.

Mmmbop by Hanson is a musical masterpiece, so you should definately cover that.

You could also do Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple, Smells like Teen Spirit by Nirvana or For Whom the Bell Tolls and Enter Sandman by Metallica.

6stings... that's a first, now I'm not even strings, I'm stings... like a scorpion! that'd be kinda cool... have a guitar with 6 stings and 2 humbuckers... ouch...

No, not really... just something easy which has bass, electric guitar and drums.

no offense, but why are you people all anti-greenday? some greenday songs are not hard... i have no dificulty playing most of them...and me and two of my friends, all not good at their instruments except me, learned a greenday song, first time we ever played to gether, in one hour, when i come around, its easy, greenday is not hard to play!

I didn't say I was against greenday, I just said there stuff was extremely easy.

however, NOW i am going to say I am against greenday. I really just don't like music that just talks about politics, especially when all they do is bash on bush and the war... both of which I support.

ahh, i thought you said there music was hard...anyway, i just like the music, i also support Bush and the War, but i still like them, but there early stuff isnt so political...
