Vox Valvetronix Amps

Anybody ever played through these things (any size)? I played the 15, 30 and 100W twin and I liked what I heard. However, I don't have a lot of experience with amps and I'm wondering what else I should try in the same price range.

I dont like them...I much prefer a Line 6 spider II...dunno why, but to me, the Vox just sounds muddy.
If you want an amp in a similar price range...with effects and all, I'd check out the spider2.
