hey guys new member to the forum(ive been on the lesson part before). heres one of my songs...i write a lot! i might post a few every now and then..so tell me how it is!
The sun churns upward in the sapphire sky
As we ramble down the road
But who knows where we
Are going with our life
Can we see?
Whats right in front of us
Or does the light that blinds
Prevents us from our true meaning
Of mice and men, and
God knows when
We all might finally learn
The meaning for what we still yearn
No one knows the meaning
Of what we’ve been seeing
We live the life, but no one knows
What we’re living for
We talk of
Fulfilling the dream
But no one ever knows
Where the dream starts
The light that blinds us from
Where we are going
Do we even know where
We came from?
No one knows the meaning
Of what we’ve been seeing

What we’re living for
We travel down the road
Closer to the promise land
Was there even a promise?
For a better life
But I wont let this stop me
Pull down the shade
To cover the blasphemy
As the light slowly fades
