hey guys, im havin some serious trouble on which guitar to get, ive been looking at some and now have decided on 3 or 4,theres an Ibanez GRG170DX electric, an epiphone G-310 SG electric, a Squier Delux Strat Quilted top and a Squier Delux Series Satin Trans Strat HH. im into like heavy metal and rock so please tell me which one of these is the best and if there any other better ones for like 200-300$ please let me know thanks alot.

How much are Peavey raptors going for these days?
i checked on musicians friends and its for 140 bucks, but wudnt the ibanez or epiphone be better

I like my Epiphone but it's a Les Paul Special II. I'm guessing the Sg would be pretty good too. I've never really liked Ibanez, but I can't generalize off of one bad expierience with a bass. I'm guessing they can make good stuff if they want. Just play some that you like and are in your budget. See which one you fall in love with and take her home.

I would get the schecter personally,but they're all decent budget guitars.

I've played this ESP (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=guitar/s=electric/search/detail/base_pid/516637/) and it's not half bad. the sound is not as good as my gibson sg costing more then twice as much, but it has a very nice feel to it, and the quilt top is absolutely gorgeous (the pic on musicians friend doesn't do it justice) but hey, you could always install better pickups later if you want to improve the sound.
