Installing Locking Tuners, help

I have built a Saga guitar (cheap), only to fins the tuners suck badly. I bought new Fender Locking Tuners. I need help installing them. Do I drill or what? They don't have intructions. Thanks

If they do not fit in the hole that are already there then you have to re drill em. I have in the past put locking tuners on guitar where drilling is required. Make sur you dril perfect, try to get the use of a drill which is fixed and the bit is lowered by the means of an arm. make sure the neck and head are fixed at the right level/angle.

Befor you drill masking tape the head so you drill through the face of the head where the tape is.


FIRST step though is to drill into a spare piece of wood to make sure you get the exact size and can do it with out any mistakes. Good luck and its a lot easier than we think at times.
