If it's a guitar I own...it'd have to be my Fender DG25S acoustic;
if it's a guitar I'd like to own...Ibanez JS1000 in metallic black...or, anything by PRS....

I have a pair of black 1984 Yamaha SBG1000's. This SG3000 has fancier binding, but you get the idea.

Well, over time, you get past that stage, and enjoy your guitar, rather than baby it.

I think anything by Bunker Guitars blows 'em all away, but I'm seriously prejudiced...I was gonna include pics, but I guess I'm not able to.

I wanna try to get a custom Carvin guitar, probabally with a quilted maple, blue burst finish with black hardware and a matching headstock. Not sure about the pickups though. That would then be my favorite guitar. For now I like the Schecter C-1 Classic in Transparent Blue quilted maple w/Vine of Life inlay.

My avatar is based on a picture of a different SBG. I did some Photoshop work on it to represent the nickel-plated covers on the DiMarzio pickups I installed in my first SBG1000 (called Brand X).
As I said earlier, my 1000's aren't as fancy as the SG3000 in that picture. The neck is set-in, not through-body like the 3000, and the binding is cream with a double line instead of the abalone inlays. Plain black instead of the pearl sparkle. Still, I like the one I bought new in '84 so much that when I saw another one just like it on eBay a couple of years ago, I bought it. I ended up installing DiMarzio pickups in the second one too, but the stockers weren't bad at all. So I call the second one The Stalker.
Now I have two of my most favourite guitar ever! :D

And if you want to resurrect a thread that is dying from lack of replies, just add a post that says "bump". Bumping a thread is a widely-recognized way to keep it alive.

I am in love with my "New" Yamaha SG200. This thing just sounds SOOOO cool. Sustain forever, easy to fret, nice low action, great tone. Tuners are terrible Aria's but some Grovers are going on soon, along w/ a new Tune-a-matic bridge and Stop. I am even toss in some new humbuckers ;) even if I don't this baby is so sweet. HEAVY! I guess all of that mahagony weighs something, huh.
