Bass through a guitar POD

I have a guitar POD 2.0, so would it be possible to run a bass through that for some quick home recordings, or would it blow something up?

I'm not expecting it to sound amazing, just checking if it would work.

It will work fine. Try the tube preamp model, or a bassman model (if it has one). Also, try with and without the cab sims.
