Not keen on em at all.
The BC Rich warlock can do real damage and look the part.
which in't bad cos I am a strat player but own a warlock in red with floyed rose licenced.
But is is not just the guitar that wakes the devil its the guitarist....

Yes, they are very good. I currently own 3 of them (I had another, but I sold it): a Striker FR422 a Baretta FX404S, and a Vanguard Pro (my baby). They are without a doubt the best valued guitars around today, and I'd gladly take them over an Ibanez or low to mid range import Jackson (the Pro series competes with the high end ones though). You won't find a better deal on a comparable axe, and ther customer service is pretty good if you need to make a return or something. Just keep in mind that any guitar sent through the mail (especially one with a recessed Floyd Rose) may need a good setup when you get it.
I personally didn't like the import BC riches I've played on. They look cool, but they play & sound bad IMO.

I agree, i've played quite a few BC Rich's, and the only one i liked was a 1970's handmade neck-through Warlock.
I tried a new, bottom-of-the-line Kramer Focus a few months back; someone traded it at a local guitar shop, and they were selling it for $175 (you can get it at musicyo for something like $60) and was totally blown away. I looked at the price after playing it, and was shocked, the quality, in my opinion, is better than an American strat, and the sound is great. I've heard horror stories about people getting ones that had loose jacks, horribly muddy pickups, fretwork that was just plain unforgiveable and tuners that couldn't hold the thing in tune for crap. But what do you expect, they're mass market Korean guitars made by eleven year old girls, they aren't all gonna be great.
My next guitar is gonna be a Kramer Focus Fatboy that i'm going to hot rod.
