Sonar vs Audition

Which one is the "better" program for recording?

I'm not familar with Audition, but I use Sonar and love it....

But, if you want to get the industry standard, look into Pro Tools. It's supposed to be the best out there from what I've heard.

Pro Tools isn't necessarily the best, but definitely expensive. If you're just in it for fun, and aren't planning on transferring sessions to other studios, any recording software will do. All programs do pretty much the same things, what makes one better than the other is how much you like the lay-out, how the programs works...

I've worked with Pro Tools HD, LE, Cakewalk, Sonar, Logic, Cubase,...
and I just ordered Audition.. I'll let ya know what I think.

I used Pro Audio 9 before upgrading to Sonar. Pro Audio 9 had a lot of bugs in it which I think they fixed with Sonar. I love Sonar, it's my fav. I just said Pro Tools b/c that is the most widely used in a pro manner.
