I was wondering if anybody could help me out in developing my Wah-Pedal skill considering i have almost no clue on how to use one. But if anybody has a site or some good advice to help me out that would be great. Thanks.

Pump it like a gas pedal!! The faster ya pump the faster the wah wah wah wah wah! :D Leave it in one position or another and ya can get some pretty sweet tones from it...unless its a cheapy. Thats about it..

I am by no means an expert, but I think that keeping it about half way up and making small adjustments is more useful than going all the way from top to bottom and back again.
The middle range seems to me to be where the good sounds are.

I find that slowly moving the wah pedal whilst playing a fast passage produces a nice sound.
Go listen to some Joe Satriani; listen to the way he uses his wah pedal; that way you'll gain some ideas on various ways of using a wah pedal.

I love my wah and when I first started out i learned the intro to voodoo child(slight return), White room(cream), (Say what) stevie ray vaughan, these are songs where the wah is used alot. practice these for some wah technique.

Yeah, and after that, learn the solo to "All Along The Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix. That'll get the pedal pumpin'.

yeah, i already know how to play voodoo child, but the problem is with that one is that i cant really get it to have as smooth as a sound as hendrix gets out of it in the actual song. But i keep on procticing it but i cant seem to figure out how to get the wah to not sound so choppy in it.
