Well here we are. I bought my firts electric guitar about 18 moths ago. It was a cheap guitar (2290 FIM, about 400$ ??). Suitable for first electric...

Now, I'm playing in a band but guitar won't work.
It starts screaming when I put some more volume to play. And the sound disappears for while... Yes, the pickups suck, or...?

Why I'm telling this? Because I'm bored and want to hear some comments and tips how to get money for better guitar. ;-)

I would have a good job and save up for the guitar of your choice. If the guitar you have has bad pick-ups replace them with something you like. It could also be that you have your amp too damn loud and you are right in front of the speakers.

It might also have something to do with the cord you're using. Sometimes, my crappy-ass cord will start making this homosexual, high pitched sound, but when I move it around a little, it stops.
