I just saw them do their A Bigger Bang Concert in Moncton, New Brunswick. :eek: All I can say is that it was the most amazing and energizing experience of my life. Played to a crowd of roughly 85 000.

I don't know about a specific riff... there are a lot of riffs and other things that always do it for me with every listen. Off hand I can think of one specific note in Steve Vai's I know you're here that just never ceases to amaze me. I love the whole song, but it's pretty much the only song I can think off the top of my head that I can single one certain note over all others. I love that song. Talking about it makes me want to watch the DVD again... for, like, the 100th time.

I like the Squall he makes about 30 seconds into Blue Powder before the sweeps. If I could faithfully recreate that sounds some day, I'd put down my guitar.....for about 10 minutes....then pick it back up again.....and make the noise again.....:p

I hate The Scorpions but they have one amazing track from the old days called "Dark Night". It's been covered by a load of bands including Testament and Yngwie Malmsteen. Kick ass riff that erupts ito some really cool lead, check it out.
