I have been playing for quite a few years now but having spoken to a couple of other guitarist(who have 1/2 hour lessons weekly from prf.tutors), I was thinking about having some myself. I am self taught and believe that you learn something new every time you pick your darling (guitar) up.

I live in the Glossop area(Derbyshire). The home of Royston Vasey (league of gentlemen). And am glad to say I'm not local. (Manchester born and bred, and still a Man City fan, but a little unsre why at this time)

SORRY, lost the plot then, if any tutors in this area can be recommended, I would be greatful. Thanks

By all means, sign up for some lessons, I was self-taught for 30 years, which means I was getting my instruction from a guy who didn't know jack! :p

I now spend a half-hour every week with a fella who is half my age, and has twice my technical skill. We get along great, and we have fun. A skilled, enthusiastic teacher can make all the difference.
