Hi!

I was just wondering who else here plays the violin or the fiddle (Whatever you call it)

The fiddle is my primary instrument, but I play guitar and Mandiolin too. I play professionally for an artist named Katrina Elam, from Bray Oklahoma. http://www.katrinaelam.com
And I also set in with a lot of bands in the Texas and Oklahoma area.

I am a student at South Plains College in Levelland Texas and I am just finishing up my first year here, getting my certificate of proficiency in Commercial Music.

Here's a link to my fiddle forum. Please take a look and tell me what you think. http://www.possumstew.com/sites/fiddleforum

Cheers.

I have loads of instruments, most of which i dont play any more. I have violin (which i played for 5 yrs), harmonica, Kantale (nordic Lyre), Recorder, classical guitar (which i'm going to pick up on again soon), electric guitar and many wierd and wonderful percussion instruments. Oh, and an ocarina.

No, but ever since I first heard "Mr Krinkle" by Primus, I've wanted an upright bass and a bow.

Right... hopefully someone will know... can you get reasonably priced lefty voilins? I've only ever seen one lefy violin, but that's probably because I haven't really been paying attention... Are fretted violins any good? (to learn on ofcourse)...
