My guitar teacher lent me this book, and I just thought I would reccomend it to everyone. It really gives an in-depth, but understandable, view into the world of the music industry, and what you should do to protect yourself as a musician and artist.

Here's a link if anyone is interested, and mind you, you can probably find it at a library, I just wanted to let people know it's out there: The Music Business (Explained in Plain English) (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0964870908/qid=1123946782/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/102-2145129-1491319?v=glance&s=books&n=507846)

Any comments for those of you who have looked at it?

I haven't read that one in particular, but it's definitely a good idea to get as much info about the music business as possible.
A lot of guys have this outdated idea that all you need to do is send in a demo tape and you'll suddenly be 'discovered' and get a 'recording contract', then you're suddenly rich and famous.
It sure as hell doesn't work that way.
