well, you wanna know about me? well, I've got an ibanez GRX40 strat copy, and my brand new, just arrived today, gibson faded SG special  I play gigs once a week in my churchs high school worship team... nothing like singing about jesus with some heavy distortion power chords going on. :D and I've got my home recording studio which I spent about... $5 on... yep, just got an adapter to plug into the line in, and downloaded free software off the internet... lol, alright well, c ya around!

Greetings, I'm creeping on a bit too.
I play and record on computer at home, I use a Fender Squier and a Les Paul studio.
I use Guitar Tracks recording software and have just found I can record the distortion channel without hum, by simply moving the amp further from the computer - I find the squier records well, but the les paul is too powerfull, it could be OK, if I had a bigger room.

I can beat that, I spent a grand total of $0 on my home recording studio.

that's what I had originally when I had a microphone that we had lying around in front of my amp, plugged into the mic in on my computer... but the sound quality was horrid... so, for $5 I made it a little better by cutting out the middle men of that horrible mic and that horrible amp

Someone gave me a free desktop mic, that's so old it doesn't have any of that frequency filter crap, which means it's better than you would expect (still, it's no SM57 or the like), and someone else gave me a free copy of Logic Audio Platinum 5.5. :)
