1st off I hope this is in the correct forum ?
2nd I've been playing the guitar now for about 3 weeks, & have *cough* mastered the A D E chord progression.
Could any of you top players suggest a strumming Rhythm & order of play using the above chords ?
eg
1 bar A , 2 bars E , 1 bar D etc.
Any help greatly appreciated

yeah, four A, two D, two A, one E, one D, two A.
How many bars does that make? Oh, what a shock! Twelve!
Now rock out with the blues, my man.

The same order you wrotte, makes a good chord progression.
You can play four downstrocks for each chord. Like this:
A / / / D / / / E / / /
Use a metronome to keep the right tempo.
Next you can learn a "B minor" chord to add to your progression.
A / / / D / / / E / / /
A / / / Bm/ / / E / / /

You might like to check out 'Status Quo type 12 bar' in E, it has very similar chords to what you already know E5, A5 and an additional B5.
If you can learn these two keys A and E, it won't be long before you can jam along to the majority of AC/DC material. You'll find it in Guitar tab on the index page.
If your not happy about Learning Tab, I will gladly explain it.
keep up the good work, I think you might be a ' natural '
