i hate the kid now. uug. oh, so all i had to do was play some half-assed my chemical romance covers to keep jamming with him, eh? my rock and roll band wasnt cool enough for him, huh? not cool. whatev. the kid pulled like 29 minute drum solos like they where going out of style. ****ing good drummer though....but honestly, listen to that band. thats as cliche as starting an ac/dc cover band. i mean, am i the only one who gets pissed off about this ****? probably. but honestly...its damn emo progs with screamo lyrics. gimme a break. i think i heard a band like this before, it was called the top 40 on mtv2. or hawthorne heighs. i cant ****ing remember.

and then the worst thing about screamo bands is that all the "post-hardcore/indie/pouser punk" broads go "OMG YOURE THE GREATEST BAND EVER" like theyre ****ing revolutionary. yea, right down to the damn hairstyles, screamo bands are indeed "orgasmic."

Dude... that song sucked. In most cases (95%) I can't stand such predictable music and I have even less tolerance when the predictability is encompassed by uninnovative, unentertaining, watered-down, guitars and boxy drums. My sympathies for the loss of a drummer, but if he chooses this style then would you really want that in your style? Of course I'm just overly expressing my opinion here, so feel free to verbally assault me if anyone disagrees.
Oh, and regarding the "greatest band ever" thing, I've just passed that off as uneducated in the field of professionals versus amateurs.

My 'crap filter' is kinda sluggish today - lasted 35 seconds before I killed it...

Wow... what an easy target... i feel like I should feel guilty... but i don't!
First off, we get a better drum sound from our kit with an SM58 5 feet away... he needs to upgrade from his 4 piece junior kit before putting up recordings on the internet for everyone to share in his shame.
They need to learn not to put works-in-progress on the internet as if they were finished... it's embarrasing if they're up there with no disclaimers, as if they were complete.
I did, however, enjoy Moby Dick-- I mean, "Monstro the Whale".
I could pick each song apart, but I won't.

hahaha, true dat. well the drummer is poor as hell, hes been playing for like 8 yeras, but hes had a set for like 2. i met him beacuse he was the drummer for jazzband, but he dropped out like halfway through the year, thats when we jammed for a number of months. his set is teh sucks, and hes like 19 and never held a damn job. and his mom takes care of a 40 year old retard who has no teeth. scariest thing ive ever seen. first time i was over it lunged at my leg and gummed my pants.

yea, i guess the band was looking for a bassist, dustin (Drummer boy) was like "we need a guy whos been playing for at least 5 years" and i waasl ike "dude, youre playing screamo, right? do you really need a good bassist whatsoever?" and he wasl ike "well, were playing at warped tour next year, dude! we have to!"
....yea, maybe at the diy stage. my band could have played the damn diy stage.
