Well I just started to learn tapping and when I tap I can barely hear the notes I tap left handed. I'm hitting the note as hard as I can and it still doesn't sound nearly as loud as ya'lls. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

when you pull off try to pull the string down a little and then release it, when you hammer on it souldnt be a problem, the difficult part is to pull of... and turn up the volume... a little distortion could also help

Are you using distortion?
If you are, and you still can't hear anything, then crank up the gain and turn the volume on your guitar up to max.

Try adjusting the height of your pickups, if they are too far from the strings, they tend to cut off the sound with softly played notes.
Just a thought.

Raising your pickups would be a rather extreme solution and would probably mean that your guitar was jacked up in the first place.
Make sure you've tried the other suggestions before you attempt anything with your pickups.

Yup, that's what I meant, I had my pickups way too low on my guitar, till a tech told me about it. Really made a difference, cause my notes used to cut out pretty fast.
