I was asked to teach guitar to 6-!2 years old (boys & girls), and I need some activities to share with them. Does anybody know any? besides the kleenex box-guitar that uses rubber bands.
Thanks guys.

Get em involved in recording stuff. They won't get bored as quickly if they're having fun putting a song together.
Do an air guitar contest to see who can come up with the best 'lead face'.
Avoid naked bowling or anything involving wrong touching.

For the older boys (or girls), you can buy kits to make their own fuzz boxes. The kits are only 10 bucks a piece. Soldering is a must so i geuss this isn't such a good idea, i'm sure they have some solderless kits.

Give 'em a day to dress up like a rock star or diva. You never know, you might discover a champion Jr. Elvis....

what? ten bucks? that's pretty cool since I was actually looking into building my own effects boxes, I need something easy to start on, what could be easier then them giving you all the parts and instructions? where can I get one of these $10 fuzz boxes?
