Recently a friend lent me a tape with Jeff Beck's Guitar Shop on it, I was quite impressed so I quickly went out and bought it on CD.

Does anyone else here like Jeff Beck? Got any CD's of his you'd recommend?

he akiva dude
i would like to just congradulate you on finding a great new guitar teacher. his name is jeff beck. you can learn so much from that guy. ya i can recommend two CDs i own personally. "Blow by Blow" is one of them and the other one is "Wired." Jeff Beck is an intense guitarist. Some of his live stuff in out of this world. He had this jam in 1973 i believe i wasnt around (i am 18) but i got it on my computer with jeff beck and eric clapton and clapton is like totally showing up jeff beck with his solos. and then beck sorta looses it and just starts ripen it up. its awesome so pretty much not only is jeff a very technical guitarist he can rock so keep on rocken dude :cool:

Here's some selections;
...you already know about "Guitar Shop"
People Get Ready (w/ Rod Stewart)
The entire "Truth" album
The Entire "CRAZY LEG'S" album ( a Rockabilly Tribute to Gene Vincent and the Blue Caps)
Check out his newer stuff too , it's a little techno but the guitar playing is outstanding. Everyone says that nobody plays with as much emotion as Beck....they're right!!! "Where Were You" puts a lump in my throat every time!!!!
