I've leaning towards getting one of these. (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=home/search/detail/base_id/120144)
The reviews there are very positive, but anyone here had experience with them or even this particular head? I've had their mixers before and those were good quality, but I've never used their amps...so just wanted some feedback. Ha! Feedback, get it?

i cant really comment on that specific amp but berhinger in general are great amps. my freind got one, 100 watts
100 effects and a pedal switch i dont remember the perticular amount but they arent expensive! so thats a bonus for the working all day being unemployed
anyways it was a blues amp "blues devil" and that machine was a beast forget devil. so ya hope that help you a bit at least....
keep it really groovy

you know what I've always wondered? how behringer was pronounced... I've been pronouncing it like "bare-in-jer" but I think I might be wrong, is it supposed to be "be-ringer"?

sorry, that was a little random, personnally I've never used any behringer stuff at all, so I couldn't tell you about the quality. but what I would do is, go to here (http://www.behringer.com/LX1200H/index.cfm?lang=ENG) and then on the right click on "dealer finder" then find a shop near you that stocks them and go try one out.

VERY BAD.

The amp looks alright. It's pretty cheap though so I wouldn't expect anything amazing

I've always pronounced it "bay-ring-er"

I gig with a Beringer 1200 ultrabass. Its LOUD, sturdy, heavy and cheap. I don't like the sound of the aluminun cone but with a big muff in the signal chain it'll do. I use it with my jazz bass, acoustic/electric and my upright.
When and if it gets stolen; I'll get another. For 2 bills it's great. A lot of bass players around here use them. I only know of 1 6stg player that uses one. He runs two small amps in stereo [1 clean,1 nasty] He sounds great.

Like 6stg1hum said tryem out.

Behringer is an EXCELLENT brand. I have a really awesome 30w behringer amp, and it was only 70$. Dont be fooled by the price. It is a great great brand and I would reccomend any of thier products.

have you tried their stomp boxes? I was looking at getting some cause of the price ($25-$30 each for the ones I want to get) but, I don't know if there is a shop nearby that has them, so, I don't think I'll be able to try them out.

nope, I dont have pedals. The only one I have is a digitech multieffects. I really need a good distortion pedal but its really hard to find pedals you like. Specially from the net if youve never played that pedal before. But Behringer is good and i would buy anything from them and not think twice if it would last.
