I need help with chords

Hi, I am 11 years old and just bought an electric guitar. I am having trouble changing chords and just getting chords right. I think it might be because my fingers are small. Any one have any pointers??

It just takes time, just make sure your fingers are pressing down hard enough on all the strings so none of them buzz, if they do buzz reposition your hand and press harder until you get it. The speed of chord changing just comes with time, its a barrier we all cross at some point, just keep working at it and itll eventually become a breeze.

Just passing by, (new guy, heh). Maybe also try and possition your fingers as close as possible to the fret, it avoids difficulties and buzz of the strings.

the closer to the fret, the least you'll have to press, heh..
