Jolly, since you are so amazingly good and speedy at penning lyrics, I am putting a challenge to you...
I will give tou two days to write a new song.."Easy!" I hear you exclaim...but tis not that simple, alas...there is a catch...You have to write this song on my terms...here they are.

1)The song can have any structure, but has to exceed 120 words.
2)The song has to feature a chorus.
3) The song must include the words...rabbit, apple, oak tree and evangelist!

Your time starts now...lets see what you have by Wednesday evening.

Good Luck, we all know you can do it!

Are you trying to get jolly to do your homework for you?

I'll bang it out, but I'm pretty busy this week. Give me until Thursday and you've got a deal.

Right, till Thursday you have.

Then maybe we can all judge you on a scale of 1-10, I will think of various points on which everyone can judge you...I'll post them later.

Right...Jolly is going to post his song...then I want you guys to rate him out of 10, with 10 being the best.
Give him a seperate rating for:
1)subject (and how he managed to cleverly use the given words)
2)Syllabel count(does it seem these lines could work in the same melody?)
3)credibility(does it seem he just lined up rhyming words?
and finally
4)future prospects(is this a song you think you would hear on a radio or even purchase?)

After all of this, you will give a total score for the song...

Seeing that the thread started as a bit of a joke, and it may well be difficult to write a non-comedic song involving all four of the words I included, extra points may and should be allocated if Jolly actually turns out a serious, non-Tenacious D-type song. :p

I dunno, some of the things I've paid for... I'm sure that buying a song with the above description for me wouldn't be too bad.

lmao, i knew u could do that, piece of cake. Its not as good as some of your songs but im afraid ur the only one here who could make rabbit, apple, oak tree, and evanglist work into a song. I think im gonna go through and count the number of songs you have posted and see if there is anyone who can match it...

I am amazed, that could almost have been an actuall Billy Ray Cirus song...incredible!
I'll give you 10's for the lot hey...except please do explain how a rabbit is ready...I am trying to see if you have any metaphor intended, or if you just had to use the word rabbit?
and you did it with time to spare...

Rabbits are always on the go, plus they have sex at the drop of a hat. Thus, rabbits are ready to go. Also I wanted to use the word rabbit, haha.

She don't like her eggs all runny
She thinks crossin' her legs is funny
She looks down her nose at money
She gets it on like the Easter Bunny
She's my baby, I'm her honey
Never gonna let her go...

I listen to too much music.

Not possible. I listen to music anywhere from 80% - 100% of my days. I spent something like an hour and a half just cleaning my playlist just moments ago, which is up to about 5566 tracks. And most of it is metal... real metal. Oh, and good lyrics, I give them a clean 10 all the way through.

When you guys gave it a ten, I hope it was like a ten on a scale of one million. :p Just kidding "Jolly". Pretty interesting parody.
