Hi everybody, I recently bought a guitar and am looking to learn to play. I bought a couple of books and tried a lot of online lessons. I live in Harford County, Maryland and was wondering if there is anyone from nearby who may know of a good place to check out for lessons. Any feedback would be appreciated, Thanks

Hey Kerry,
I'm not exactly local (England) but seeing as no one has come up with anything why not go back to the shop you got your giutar from?
The walls will be littered with ads for bands teachers and anything else you might want.
good luck

I agree with that last dude. But another suggestion is to play a lot by ear. That is, listen to your favorite CD (hopefully Metallica, Slayer, or Pantera), and try to figure out some of those songs.

Oh, and Kirk Hammett is God!

Kirk Hammet wishes he could play like Dave Mustaine...

Dave Mustaine can burn in hell. He's absoulutely nothing compared to Kirk.

And he has a bad voice.
