Questions about improving

I Want to know how i can increase my speed Make my pinky stronger(and my other fingers but mainly pinky) and stretch my fingers is there any exercises i can do to be able to do this and is there any hardware such as a Gripmaster or like fingerweights that wil help me get stronger and faster and are there any videos that have really amazing exercises to help me acheive speed strength and stretch?

You can use the gripmaster, just don't over use it. It will help get you pinky in shape, but its not the best way to do it. The best way is the 1234 exercise someone mentioned here before. Just go 1-2-3-4 on each string. Go from 6 to 1 then 1 to 6. Up and down strokes. Keep doing that, it builds speed and strength. For streching use:

I would recommend just playing as opposed to buying special equipment. Speed comes with practice, muscle memory, and accuracy. Simply put, you get faster buy playing the guitar.

As for the pinky, I too had a long struggle getting that little dude in the game. For the first 2-3 years I played, I only used it for that odd note here and there. I'd recommend doing scale exercises with all 4 fingers. For instance, try playing a major scale formation in thirds up and down the fretboard to build speed and accuracy. Also try doing trills (successive hammer on, pull off's) between your ring finger and pinky.

If you're going to spend money on anything get a metronome first. That'll help your speed, accuracy and rhythm all in one.
