[Led Zeppelin]

I dont understand it. Slash uses alot of them. I always see them on tabs and its confusing especially when theres no note played before it. Someone explain it.

Like a bend release? If there's no note played before it i usually take that as being a pre-bend or badly notated when looking at tabs. Where you bend the note up but don't play it, then you play it and release the bend.
