My Parents went out and bought me a Mesa Tripple Rectifier Head with a cab. I was wondering what any of you guys thought about it and what settings you may use on it.

Face the East (or whatever direction your parents happen to be), bow so deeply that your forehead brushes the ground, and repeat fervently "I am not worhy! I am not worthy! I am not worthy!... but if I work at it diligently I may be..."
You will need to play around with the settings to find a combination that produces what you feel is 'your sound', but you are already miles ahead of what most of us mere mortals have to work with.

Must be real nice to have parent's that would fork out that kind of money on gear like that. I sure hope you thanked them, and never plan on giving them any grief no matter how big or small for the rest of your life!
The Triple Rectifier can be a trickey beast to taim, because there are so many things that can be tweaked. All I can suggest is try everything you can think of, even things that would seem out of the ordinary. But please! For the love of God! Don't turn the mid's all the way down!
Oh, and did I mention to thank your parents, and to do whatever they tell you to do without question? If you do that, then maybe one day you will deserve the gear your VERY generous, and obviously wealthy, or now in debt, parents have provided you with.

Feel your pain chuck -=(.....But goodluck with the amp. I have a friend with one and he gets a real nice sound out of it but you gotta take your time finding your sound.
