I was just curious what the GNR fans thought of Buckethead joining up? Did you dig him or think he was a freak?

Me again, the new GnR fan!!
Well im not exactly please bout buckethead, he seems a bit fake, like he's tryin to do something origonal, only so he can be well-known! What i mean is that Slash is cool naturally, that his nickname was given to him as a child, and that his top hat and hair are real!! He's a shy guy! and dat his image aint fake!!!
Later, Axl_Rose :)
PS. Buckethead has the on-stage presence of a dead dog, he just stands there with a guitar and hardly moves, know what i mean?

I haear ya. but buckethead has been doing and being the buckethead for well over a decade. He has played with many of the best avant jazz and rock musicians of the late 20th century and has a discography of almost 40 albums. he isn't trying to be original he is an original and his adherence to the stupid costume has really cost him in terms of wide-spread exposure. In fact, for many people who first discovered him in 1991/92, he totally redefined rock guitar with the band Praxis on "Transmutation" featuring Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell, etc....a landmark recording to say the least.

Well, what can we say about a guy that wears a KFC bucket on his head?
At least it's original.
