Simon, you crazy individual! Huzzah for not yet being 40 (no offense, Lord)! :DOffense? Naw, no worries. 35's a good age. Still young enough to be able to use youth as an explanation for getting off the leash once in a while. I can't use that excuse at my age, but I get off the leash anyway!

Happy, Happy! Joy, Joy!

Many Newcastle Browns t' yer!! :D

happy 35th, doc!

holy crap, you were 14 when i was born... not tryin to rub it in or anything... there's something to be said about having a carreer (and a downright respectable one at that) and a marriage and all the other great stuff that comes with age.

congratulations, and you can have my beer!

Happy B-day doc!!! wow, you are more than twice as old as me... so if you are having your midlife crisis, well most people would be a porshe, or a jaguar, or BMW, but I have a feeling you'll buy a high end gibson, maybe two or three, maybe a few half stacks, but some more rack effects... you know, whatever you've always wanted, but never could afford, that's what a mid-life crisis is all about!!!

I don't know about mid-life crisis but I have an Avalon Design Vt373sp pre on back order at the moment, does that count ?

did you mean 737? I couldn't find anything on 373, but I found a Avalon VT 737SP pre/EQ/compressor on musicians friend... looks like a fine piece of eqipment, even though I'd never even heard of it before today, lol

Happy birthday dude!! I have about seven years on you, but I still feel young at heart. I was driving around town one day and I saw a sign that said "forget about your age and live your life." That has really stuck with me.

Take care.

Aa but the Avalon wont get me arrested for making a hideous din !! ..."Hideous" is in the ear of the beholder. And I'm very sure the Avalon can't make your shirt flap in the breeze! :D

And I recall a certain Marshall product joining a certain household recently?....

hopefully, by the time i'm 35, i'll either be a rockstar or a well-established lawyer  and my 35th b-day gift to myself can be some sort of ungodly-nice archtop or something.
