you could try this (http://www.peavey.com/products/browse.cfm/action/detail/item/109359/number/00461740/cat/68/begin/1/Triple+XXX%AE+Super+40+EFX.cfm) out. I've never played that exact version, but I've got the head version (no effects) and with a tube swap it's wonderful. I use a Boss CH-1 chorus, which sounds great. I'm not sure of any other all tube amps with built in effects. I also have a Peavey Classic 50 which is a great amp for the price. No built in effects other than reverb. The distortion defanately has a Marshalley feel to it, and with the right pickups and settings can get pretty heavey. I sometimes use an MXR ZW-44 overdrive infront of the dirty channel to get the really heavey stuff. And yes, this amp is very loud! They also make a Classic 50 which is a great amp also. A little more info on how you will be using the amp, i.e. with a band, by yourself at home, needs to be loud, needs to get great tone at low volume's, etc... Also, what style's will you be using it for? Marshall's and Mesa's cover's a very wide variety of styles, even within themself's. Maybe someone with some more experience with more amps can chime in to help you out, but hopefully this will help you get in some kind of direction.
