How can your hand fit between the gap of the necks? The necks are too close together.

Adam,what is it that you put under the strings near the first fret?I assume its to keep unwanted notes from ringing?

yes, it's kind of string dumper. REK luthier said that he will make special rubber dumper more estetic and more comfortable soon.
