1969 Yamaha SG5A "Flying Samurai" (http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7306551286&indexURL=0#ebayphotohosting)

I tried one out in a shop back in the day. It plays well, and it sounds OK. But the best place to be when you're in the same room as this butt-ugly axe, is playing it. That way you don't really see just how gut-twisting ugly it is. :p

HIDEOUS!At the time, I described it as "An amoeba tied to a broken hockey stick". It was their 1969 'update' from the '65-66 SG-2 and SG-3 Strat-copies that were damn nice guitars. :p

this is a real classic. not only do we have the Trapper Keeper-style whale breaching, but, we also have a mystical space scene just over the mountains! cant you see the planets?? this scene deserves to be immortalized on the side of a 1978 Ford Van owned by a guy named Lionel it's so good.

good to know i'm not the only one :D

i found one with a panda on it at a yard sale in Charlestown back in my freshman year of highschool for a quarter that i bought and used to store my artwork as a joke. i think i gave it to my little sister Mary who then cut it up or something.

EDIT: it also reminds me of this Lisa Frank crap my sister used to get back in like 89-94... those stickers were everywhere, i remember my parents let her put them on my Sega and i went ballistic.

i was much more violent as an omnivore but i think that had more to do with the things going on in my life than my eating habits. PETA sucks and they make it difficult for people like me who lead relatively normal lives to go through our days without people giving us BS for the fact that we (gasp!) don't want to eat meat for whatever reason.

that SG is a custom shop reissue of the SG Eric Clapton used when he was with Cream. it was called "The Fool" because it was painted by a group of Dutch artists who collectively called themselves "The Fool." it's worth a huge sum of $$$.

but yeah it still looks kinda dumb.
