Hooking up gear

How do I hook up a distortion pedal and a wah pedal. Can i just connect the two with a cable or do I need the effects box thing-a-ma-jig that you put everything in.

A cable with two regular 1/4" jack will do the job.

Guitar --> Wah ---> Distortion ----> amp

You can hook up the wah and the distortion the other way round however it will give a more pronounced "Quacky" sound.

Most music stores offer little 'jumper' cables just for this purpose.
