I'm working on getting a feel for the guitar using the "appegio scale" shown on the site. I have a very basic question.

When doing tabs or that scale, and I go from one string to the next, do I wait for the full note to end, or do I cut it off and go to the next?

If I'm going from one note to another on the same string do I slide my finger down the string or lift and push down again on that next fret?

There are also some terms I don't understand when reading tabs. Such ass "bend" "hammer" "slap" "pop" "thump" "slide" and so forth. Can you please tell me a site that lists definitions for these or a site that teaches how to read tabs?

Depends how you want it to sound. Usually, you'd just lift your finger off (which stops the note), just before you strike the next note. Try to get a sound clip or video of someone playing it.

If I'm going from one note to another on the same string do I slide my finger down the string or lift and push down again on that next fret?

That also depends on the sound you want. Unless it says so on the tab, you would lift and push down again.

Here is a site on how to read tabs: http://www.cyberfret.com/reading/internet-tab/index.php
