Waffles are good also........hmm that's a tough choice. I think I may like waffles more. Those little golden pockets that catch the syrup and butter.......mmmmmm.........gooooood eating there.

between the two I prefer waffles for the same reasons as Pantallica, but my favorite is.... Piping hot buttered, buttermilk buiscits smothered with soghum molasses.
