 Hello, I am new to this site. I have been playing for about 4 yrs and not well. I bought a program that helps you learn through the computer and it is really helping so I decided to check out some sites to advance further. I am trying to find a site with a transposer attached to it? Does anyone have any idea where to find one. I know there is a guitar tab site with one but I lost it. thanks

just to make u a li'l better about yerself... i introduce myself as the newest of all newbies... just been practicing (hardly playin) for the past three months. only know a few chords.. but i'm loving it nonetheless. i'm lookin out for help and suggestions as to how to improve and practice. i know its goin to take some time before i can even absorb your terminology, but hey... i know i'm here to stay and strum along.

Welcome guys!
I'd say that the positive attitude puts you ahead of the game- in all seriousness, I'd say the key is to practice as much as you can, learn from everyone you can- no matter what style someone plays or whatever, you can ALWAYS learn from them (and they can learn from you as well). Biggest thing I've learned is love to play, respect the instrument, approach music with respect, and have respect for other players, and it'll be all good.
Peace
