i am sure this has been asked several times, but i did not see the thread and i am a noob to this site.
i know how to do pinch harmonics. i have heard a term tossed around called artificial harmonics. the description of an A.H. seems to be what i am doing for a P.H. are they the same thing?

Click here (http://www.guitartricks.com/forum/search.php?searchid=43623) for search results using pinch harmonics as the keyword in the Advanced Search dailog. You can reach that dialog by clicking the little arrowhead next to the word Search in the red bar at the top of the page, and then clicking the words Advanced Search when they appear.

Ha, I'm wearing a shirt that says "stud muffin." The muffin is lifting weights and has a handlebar moustache.

Yep, pretty much -- now natural harmonics is when you kinda "chime" it lightly touching above the fret.
