top ten (sorry can't do a top five)

#10-Call Me the Breeze by Lynyrd Skynyrd
#9-Blue on Black by Kenny Wayne Shepherd
#8-Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix
#7-I Just Want you by Ozzy
#6-Civil War by Guns n' Roses
#5-Lemon Song by Led Zeppelin
#4-Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd
#3-Heartbreaker by Led Zeppelin
#2-Hell's Bells by AC/DC
#1-Eiher Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) by Hendrix or Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin I can't decide. My opinions of favorite songs are always changing.

Like I didn't even put Clapton,Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kiss, Allman Brothers, Black Sabbath, or Yngwie on there so isn't really fair.

Led Zeppelin, FenderMan: Call Me The Breeze was actually written and performed by J J Cale on his "Naturally" album, I believe from the early 70's. He also wrote "Cocaine" and "After Midnight", both covered by Eric Clapton. I know this is a little off topic, but I'm a big fan of JJ Cale and wanted to set the record straight.

Bob Dylan - Visions of Johanna, Like a rolling stone, mr tamborine man, etc
U2 - One, Please, Beautiful Day
Jimi Hendrix - Pali Gap, Machine Gun, Hear my train, Red House, etc
Pink Floyd - Wish you were here, the wall part2
Miles Davis - too many to mention
I could go on... these are only ones from cds in front of me. I left out things by Robert Johnson, Pearl Jam, Crowded House, Hooker, Trane, Radiohead, etc.

Yeah youre right I just checked. There is a famous Otis Redding song covered by someone I just cant remember what one. And Fender Man was talking about the Skynyrd cover of Call Me The Breeze from the mid-seventies. I jusy got it wrong.

Zeppelin:The Battle of Evermore, No Quarter (listen to the 30min live version on the Coast to Coast CD.)Kashmir, and the entire Led Zepplin IV Album (the one w/ stairway on it i think it's IV--its got the old guy on front with the bundle of sticks on his back.)
Nick Drake:Pink Moon
Def Leopard:Pour Some Sugar
Dave Matthews Band:Ants Marching, Sattelite, What Would You Say
Jefferson Airplane: Somebody to love, White Rabbit
ACDC:All Night Long (i think its called that)

Its got horrible sound, but if you can hear past it, it kicks ass. Room Full of Blues opened up for him, and my band teacher played with them.)
OKAY I HAVE TO STOP.!!! AHHHH!! TOO MANY GOOD SONGS!!!

Led Zeppelin:

Yeah, the Skynyrd cover of "Call Me The Breeze" rocks. Now I'm curious which Otis Redding song you're referring to.

2. "Topaz" by Journey
3. "Land of 1000 Nights" by Mahogany Rush
4. "Basking in the White of the Midnight Sun" by Armageddon
