New to this

Hi I am 41 years old and I have a guitar. Just started to play it. I know e,f,g,b,c,d. What should i learn first? any help would be nice.

Welcome to the forum.

Most people here will recommend taking lessons. This site has over 2500 lessons, but it's always easier to be shown things personally.

Another good site for chord and scale reference is right here (http://guitarknowledgenet.com/). It was started by a member of the Dream Theater forum.

try learnin a few songs to get you started. i found that learnin chords n scales was ok, for a while, so i wud suggest learnin a song to put them in.
