Im new too!

Hello All!

I just joined and it seems the tradition is to introduce yourself, so here goes! My name is Matthew, but i guess you already know that. I live in the Shire *raises fist*, which is a large chunk of southern Sydney, Australia. I have been playing for 8 years or so and I like to think I'm pretty decent at it. I play a Strat and am a FENDER MAN, although I wouldn't knock a ES-335 or LP back. I also play mandolin, violin, bass, a little piano and even less drums. It looks like a champion forum you have here! I'll finish up with a fav quote of mine: "The disgusting stink of a too-loud electric guitar: now that's my idea of a good time" - Frank Zappa.

When I saw you put location as the shire... automatically I was like well a LOTR geek. But after reading this, I'm glad to know it isn't so. Welcome to the wonderful world of guitar tricks... its addictive as coke so watch out.

If you do need some time off from the forum (I suspect that by now you already have missed 2 showers and 6 meals, because you have been drawn in by the glory of this place), I reccomend doing a little thing called playing the guitar... I've been doing it the last 2 months, and its worked like a charm.

Thanks for noticing that iiholly, it is at this point I would like to point out that I AM NOT A LOTR GEEK!! The (Sutherland) Shire is where i live, not Middle Earth!!!
