Shawshank Redemption is my all time favourite!!

"We sat and drank with the sun on our shoulders and felt like free men. Hell, we could have been tarring the roof of one of our own houses. We were the lords of all creation. As for Andy - he spent that break hunkered in the shade, a strange little smile on his face, watching us drink his beer." - Red

The whole film is just beautiful!!

Which are your faves?

Suicide Club - hilarious in a dark, horrible fashion
Fight Club - see above
Full Metal Jacket - see above
Donnie Darko - see above
Clockwork Orange - do we see a pattern?
Rushmore - deadpan hilarity
Apocalypse Now - brilliant
Iron Giant - heartwarming
Maya The Bee - cute, wish more parents reared their kids on this than crap like the Power Rangers (LET'S BEAT EACHOTHER UP!!!! YEAH!!! IT'S THE SOLUTION TO EVERYTHING!!!!), Barney (duuuuuh I'm retarded ffffffggg), Teletubbies (as if it wasn't bad enough your kid got into your stash of E once, now he keeps going back for more everytime that show comes on  ), and trash like that... seriously I think the reason every kid in the US now has attention defeciet disorder is because of our retarded children's programming... all hail Maya the Bee

i need to go to sleep

Salton Sea - good vengance flick
Pulp Fiction - stylish, bloody
El Mariachi - cheap, vengancey, bloody
Metropolis - stylish as they come and extremely profound... plus since it's silent you can play your favorite tunes over it and not miss any dialogue!

Unforgiven-Spaghetti Western

I saw a spaghetti Western the other day, don’t remember what it was called, but it was about a blind cowboy guy who had to get fifty hot chicks to Texas. Ringo Starr was one of the bad guys.

I love Austin Powers (the original). It is a great satire on all the spy movies such as James Bond. However, I believe that the second and third Austin Powers movies are nowhere near as good, the second and third movies were not written by Mike Myers he was just a producer. The second and third movies were just a heap of crude joke slapped together with a very loose story line.

Favourite movies:

Comedies:
Dodgeball
Old School
Elf
School of Rock
The Animal
Life

Mockumentaries:
A Mighty Wind
Spinal Tap
There was one which I can’t remember the name of it was about the CIA trying to cover up the fact that man didn’t go to the moon.

Can’t think of any more right now, but I will eventually.

my god im shocked!!! this is supposed to be some place where everyone is in to guitar yet i only see one tiny reference to a film every person wanting to be in a band should see! SPINAL TAP!!!!
you could spend your life quoting this film and people would still think you were funny! damn it you lot need educating!!! i have to say it p***s all over school of rock for a film about a band (i did really like school of rock though!)
ah yeah it is great. others less about music wich i love are garden state, WILLOW - grew up watchin that film everyday, some great stuff (madmargeden was a hero!), shaun of dead really good. but still if you haven't seen SPINAL TAP and you play guitar or are in a rock, metal, jazz damn it any band involiving guitars (an you have to be if ya on this site) you have to watch it.

"Big bottom, big bottom. Talk about mud flaps my girls got 'em"

ah classic stuff. now go watch it damn it and get educated!
