Are there any good videos that can start
me out on the right way to finger pick.
I play with a flat pick and i would like
to learn songs like Momma Tried and i think
you have to learn to pick with more than
one finger to play that type of music.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

as far as videos go, i don't know of any. but fingerpicking follows this right hand pattern, ring finger first, followed by the middle, then the index finger, with bass notes picked by the thumb. try this site www.wholenote.com and under lessons search for fingerpicking or flamenco. that should help

thats more of a classical approach

are you looking for classical technique or like bluegrass, folky stuff, because theres really no set way to play that kind of stuff

song i suggest learning for folk style, eric johnson 'song for george' Zeppelin 'bron yr aur stomp' and 'bron yr aur' yes 'the clap'
