w00t!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE A NEW AMP, after 7 years using a 15watt amp i have upgraded. I just got a 75watt Line 6 spider 2 112. Anyways whenever iam recording and mixing 3 tracks( lets say those tracks are recorded with distortion) and i have bass and drums as 2 more tracks so 5 total. When i play all those tracks together i get a very horrible sound i can barley hear the other tracks and its muffled, its really crazy. I have a midi wire hooked from my amp to my soundcard( Audigy 2 24hd, not that great but its decent ^-^). I am using adobe audition 1.5 anyway to help. This also occurs if i have tracks played with clean settings. Someone previously on this forum said it was my ad conversions on my soundcard i really didn't understand, can anyone go in depth?

I think you have EQ issues, different tracks all fighting for attention.

Try separating instruments by panning them hard left and right and not so left and right. Leave your main vox, bass and kick drum in the middle.

Then try cutting some of the bottom end / middle of the guitar until they cut through the mix.
