baratone neck on a Tele?

Would it be possible / adviseable to put a baratone neck on a 74 tele? Obviously I wouldn't want to screw up the tele.

i say get a baritone 12 string neck made, that'd be badass.

i've played the Fender subsonic Strat and it sucked, i mean, I'm a big Fender guy and I love my Tele and my Strat but the thing really, really blew... muddier than is excusable for a Fender. but pickups better suited to the job would probably help a lot.
